Near the Adria International Raceway, there is another attraction for lovers of speed, engines in general and Karting. On 1 November 2014, the Adria Karting Raceway was inaugurated, a karting track that thanks to its innovations immediately established itself as a world leader.
It is a 1302 meter long route equipped with large cemented escape routes. The track, CIK FIA approved, can also be used at night thanks to the sophisticated lighting system on poles; thanks to this feature the track can also host races during the evening and night hours.
On the first floor of the building, there are the offices of the management for the control of the Track. Of course, there is also a permanent monitor room set up with state-of-the-art digital systems, the press room and the Briefing Room.
Paddock and pit box
The Adria Karting Raceway is also equipped with a paddock of 25,000 square meters available to the team, entirely cemented, with toilets, water and electric columns.
The box building houses 20 boxes always served with water and electricity. The boxes, communicating with each other, are made available to the various teams for competitions and test drives. It is also possible to rent the boxes for long periods and the possibility of storing karts.
Other services for visitors
The structure offers tourists, visitors and teams as many as 2 restaurants with a total availability of 650 pax. The catering service is managed by the Autodrome and offers menus with Italian specialties.
There is also a bar open to the public and to the team with a wide range of products for a quick snack or a light lunch. Those wishing to stay overnight can do so by booking one of the 60 rooms equipped with every comfort, some of which have a view of the main straight.
To buy souvenirs and souvenirs, there is also a shop with products from the best Kart brands, consumables, frames, engines, gadgets and clothing.
The track is open every day for free practice karts, with the exception of days with scheduled competitions, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, but reservations are required. It is also necessary to show up at least 30 minutes before the start of the race in order not to lose the reservation.
The use of a helmet is mandatory: the racetrack offers pilots their homologated helmets free of charge, with disposable under-boots included in the price. It is possible to use one’s own approved helmet with the exception of bowl helmets.
